The Cellux Art Group has organized recycling art workshops since 2006, where we communicate through the means of creation and activity. As a result of work, mostly, we create articles for personal use, which can be easily adapted to the everyday lives of the participants. Our workshops' main ideas are based on a specific mixture of different thoughts, as among the members of the group there are artists of fine arts and handicrafts, psychologist, sociologist, pedagogist and also a gardener.
We find it very important to approach our age's problems by means that supply real solutions and ensure a moral background. First, people must learn how to fulfill their needs without damaging their environment. Therefore, we try to offer solutions for everyday use.
In our opinion, the awareness of responsibility for our environment can be awakened by raising the social sensibility and also the active, and what is more, the activist manner. On the workshops, our aim is to show participants that as parts of the whole they are also responsible for their individual actions and thus, they influence the fate of the great whole. We support the local solutions and offer such practical means that anyone can apply anywhere without any special help.
Besides the art workshops we have several works in design. We make: exhibitions, re-pubs, jewelry, money-boxes, furniture, books, etc. Our products can be also characterized by the environmental thinking, we aim at recycling and work only from cut-offs.
